Midwest Book Review
Jack Dell is a sincere and self-aware seeker of wisdom whose present goal is to look back with kindness on himself and others and who is eager to share what he's learned. "Coming Home" is an enjoyable distillation of one man's philosophy expressed in simple verse and visual art. Most of the poems are personal, some mythical, and many are lyrics to songs currently available on Spotify and Apple Music. Dell's impressionistic art, apparently created with pastels, is as interestingly conceived as are his poems.
