Of all the worldly affairs Dell catalogues in his poems, the most fulfilling is an enduring marriage. Many spouses will comprehend “Living Work of Art,” when Dell writes, “And where the grass is greener, it’s just as tough to mow / So darling, be my angel; keep this devil that you know.” Readers can expect to find this and other pearls of wisdom in Dell’s charming collection.

Jack Dell is a sincere and self-aware seeker of wisdom whose present goal is to look back with kindness on himself and others and who is eager to share what he's learned. "Coming Home" is an enjoyable distillation of one man's philosophy expressed in simple verse and visual art. Most of the poems are personal, some mythical, and many are lyrics to songs currently available on Spotify and Apple Music. Dell's impressionistic art, apparently created with pastels, is as interestingly conceived as are his poems.

Navigating the acceptance of old age, the value of love in a difficult world, and the sweet return to one's familial responsibilities, Jack Dell's COMING HOME is an ode to the poet’s diverse experiences, rites of passage, and narrow escapes that will deeply resonate with readers from all walks of life. A debut collection of poems and paintings that capture the feeling of returning to love, one's family, God, and all that's beautiful under the sky.

One World Associates, the strategic communications firm representing Jack Dell, today announced the release of his debut book, Coming Home, a collection of original poems and artwork accompanied by a companion album of original songs, written and performed by Dell.
